ء ل ب: أَلَبَ الرَّجُلُ الْقَوْمَ أَلْبًا مِنْ بَابِ ضَرَبَ جَمَعَهُمْ وَأَلَبَهُمْ طَرَدَهُمْ وَتَأَلَّبُوا اجْتَمَعُوا وَهُمْ إلْبٌ وَاحِدٌ أَيْ جَمْعُ وَاحِدٍ بِكَسْرِ الْهَمْزَةِ وَالْفَتْحُ لُغَةٌ.
