كُلُّ قَرِيبٍ لا يَرِثُ بِالفَرْضِ ولا بِالتَّعْصِيبِ، ذُكُوراً كانُوا أو إِناثاً.
Blood relatives: In the context of inheritance, "ulu al-arhām" means distant blood relatives; i.e. every male or female relative who does not inherit a share from the estate of the deceased, neither an allotted share ("fard") nor a remaining share after the distribution of the allotted shares ("ta‘seeb").
