ووثقه أحمد، وابن معين، وما ذكرته إلا لان عبد الرحمن بن خراش الحافظ قال في تاريخه: حدثنا بندار، عن يحيى بن سعيد القطان، عن موسى الجهني، عن مجاهد، قال: أخرجت إلينا عائشة إناء، فقالت: في هذا كان يتوضأ رسول الله ﷺ.
قال ابن خراش: ليس بصحيح، لم يسمع منها شيئا.
قلت: قد صح سماع مجاهد منها.
